Finally, connect the negative terminal (-) of the wall socket to the negative terminal (-) of the charger port on your electric vehicle. You can now use your Tesla Model S to charge wirelessly at home with the help of EVSE products (like the ChargeHub, for example).

The Maximum Amperage That Your Charger Can Safely & Effectively Supply

You will also need to determine the maximum amperage (or amps) that your charger can safely and effectively supply. This value will be listed in your electric vehicle's specifications and documentation. For example, some chargers are able to supply up to 300 amps, while others are only able to supply up to 150 amps. Therefore, you will need to make sure that your charger can supply at least as much current as is required by your vehicle.

When you are choosing a charger for your electric vehicle, it is extremely important that you do your research and find one that can safely and effectively supply the maximum current required by your vehicle.

The Dimensions Of The Prongs (or Tabs) Of Your EV's Plugs

The prongs (or tabs) on your EV's plugs will determine how the plug is connected to a socket. For example, some plugs have two long prongs, whereas others have three or more. The length of the prongs will vary by model, but they are all generally the same width. Therefore, you will need to make sure that the width of the prongs is larger than the width of the slot in the socket (i.e. the plug will fit comfortably in the socket).
